Commissions
“ART and TEXT”
To gift or to treasure an artwork custom made as per your liking, you can commission to create something special for you. We will make your wish into reality.
What Can We Make for You?
Ketubah, Birkat Habayit, Shiviti to name some. We work on Hebrew Calligraphy and designing work. As a symbol of peace, co-existence and tolerance, we would be creating special Hebrew-Arabic artworks which will radiate a great value and which would be a great token of gratitude for business or diplomatic meet up.
Something like the name of your client written in Hebrew and Arabic and beautifully framed. That is one of our regular request in demand. We are open for any of your Calligraphy requirement, but great communication is the key to bring the best out of us.
How the Commission Process Works: Art & Text
To start, send a mail indicating your interest, we will start to walk you through it from there.
Once we receive your email, we will make sure that the commission is within our wheelhouse and will fit in our calendar; we might contact you to ask follow-up questions to ascertain. Once we know that we can fit you in, we will be in touch to discuss the artistic specifics of your commission. This might take place over email. You can also send a reference art piece right away with the request.
Some information we are likely to ask you :
Language: Which languages and font would you like me to use in your piece?
Text: What text would you like in your commission?
Dimensions: How big do you want the finished piece to be?
Stylistic preferences: If you like an Indian inspired Ketubah ?
Layout: Do you want the text and images to interact in a specific way?
If you don’t have these, don’t worry, go ahead and get in touch with us. Much of this can be figured out in the first few mail exchanges. Once we agree on an initial concept, we will give you a preliminary cost estimate and will begin the first draft sketch. Please remember that this is a piece of fine art that you are commissioning, and it is priced accordingly. If the price is out of your budget, we will be happy to advise you how to change your design to trim costs.
After reviewing the first draft sketch, you will have a chance to tweak it. And with your approval, we will send you a revised/ final cost estimate. Upon receipt of a down-payment, the size of which depends on the full cost of your commission, we will begin working on your commission.
Once the Artwork is completed, we will send you an invoice with the final cost of the artwork if the piece is being shipped, that will be included in the bill as well. We recommend that you retain the invoice so that you can get the piece insured.
Please feel free to get in touch with any other questions you might have.
